Bytes Document Solutions, previously known as Xerox South Africa, is a R1,8 billion-a-year company made up of three business components:
- The sole authorised Xerox distributor to 24 sub-Saharan countries, engaged in the marketing and servicing of the complete range of Xerox document equipment, software, solutions and services and operating through an extensive network of distributors, dealers, concessionaires and channel partners;
- The largest South African paper merchant through NOR Paper;
- Africas leading Digital Printing and Mailing Bureau through Lasercom
Bytes Document Solutions acquired NOR Papers in 2008, which added to its existing paper business and made it one of the largest suppliers of paper in the country. NOR Paper has earned a potent reputation over many years for its customer service and the quality of its merchandise which is sourced worldwide.
LaserCom, formerly Laser Facilities, is the national leader in personalised communication solutions. It generates more than 30 million pages a month on behalf of its clients, who are a who's who of corporate South Africa. LaserCom delivers mailing services, data printing, print on demand, electronic document delivery and transpromo direct marketing services.
Bytes Documents Solutions is a division of Bytes Technology Group South Africa (Pty) Ltd, owned by Altron , with Kagiso Trust Investments as its broad-based black economic empowerment partner.
It is an accredited Level 3 Valued Added Supplier as rated by EmpowerDEX in June 2009.
